Notes
St Joseph’s Secondary School has a proud and enduring tradition of choral singing, with every student participating in curricular choirs at both Junior and Senior Cycle. This strong foundation is complemented by a vibrant extracurricular culture, including the liturgical choral group Schola and the very popular, Tuesday lunchtime choir, ensuring that music is at the heart of school life.
Sixth Years of 2025/26 are an exceptionally talented year group whose voices have enriched the school community throughout their time in St Joseph’s. Highlights include most impressive 'Fauré’s Requiem' in March 2025 as Fifth Years, Navan Choral Festival recognition 2024, the lively TY Christmas Cracker in December 2023, and their regular uplifting contributions to whole-school liturgical services. Through their wonderful and spirited singing, they have brought so much joy to our school community. On Thursday, 18th December 2025, Sixth Years will be singing carols in aid of Meals on Wheels in Navan town Centre.
This quodlibet is a favourite at St Joseph's and sung every year at the school's annual carol service. Recording is of all Sixth Years who have choir on their timetable once a week.
