Founded in 2007, the Academy Chamber Choir brings together talented young singers from the Academy of Music in Tullamore. Over the years, the choir has grown in reputation, drawing members from across the Midlands and beyond. They’ve enjoyed outstanding success at national choral festivals. In 2023, they won first place in the National Church Music Competition at the Cork International Choral Festival. This year, they took top honours at the Limerick Choral Festival, winning the Sacred Music Competition, Best A Cappella Performance, and the Overall Choir of the Festival award. And in May, they were crowned “National Choir of the Year” at the Navan Choral Festival. The Academy Chamber Choir was founded in 2008 by their conductor, Ciaran Brady
