Michael Longley offers his personal reflections on Yeats’ “The Wild Swans at Coole”, “To A Squirell at Kyle-na-no” and “A Last Confession”.
Michael’s latest publication is “One Wide Expanse” – the texts of his three lectures given during his tenure as Ireland Professor of Poetry from 2007 to 2010. It is published by UCD Press. And further congratulations are due to Michael Longley who was recently awarded the Griffin Poetry Prize for “The Stairwell” his latest collection from Jonathon Cape.
