Episode Notes
In ‘Honey’ by Neil Flynn, Henry and his fellow school-going teenagers are distracted with fantasies of sex, all along a spectrum from the puerile to the sublime. But these explorations are bringing some of the boys closer to disaster. Henry is “a class of seer” who feels that something terrible will happen one of the boys that day. Henry is right.
Written in Neil Flynn’s exuberant style , ‘Honey’ follows the success of his recent plays with Drama On One – ‘The Sound and the Sperm’ (Prix Europa Shortlist, 2012) and The Quiet Willoughbys (Runner Up, PJ O Connor Awards 2010).
