The Blue Hyacinth by Maeve Brennan, adapted and directed by Joe O'Byrne
Hubert and Rose Derdon have been together for a life, but when Rose dies, Hubert finds he is unable to grieve for his wife.
The play stars Barry McGovern, David Herlihy, and Jane Brennan.
The play also stars the late, great Anita Reeves, remembered for her wonderful performances in Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel; O’Casey’s Juno & The Paycock, and Little Gem by Elaine Murphy among many others - as well as screen performances in The Butcher Boy directed by Neil Jordan, and Into The West directed by Mike Newell.
