In The Wings - The Baptiste Programme
A special edition of In The Wings with participating writers and performers from 'The Baptiste Programme,' Smock Alley’s ambitious initiative to develop new dramatic writing with Irish writers of colour.
This edition features work from two writers who participated in the inaugural Baptiste Programme, C.N. Smith and Kwaku Fortune. Writer/Performer Kwaku Fortune discusses his play It’s Cool in the Shade and performs excerpts from the piece with actor Clinton Liberty. Writer C. N. Smith tells us more about his play, A Trip to the Beach, with excerpts performed by actors Clinton Liberty and Peter Daly.
