Drama On One presents John Boorman's 'Nature Diary’, performed by the author, which John subtitles "one eye and one finger’ – reflecting his current occular and digital status!
Writing in his eighty-eighth year, (Ireland’s favourite Englishman) narrates his time in lockdown at home in County Wicklow. Cocooned in Annamoe with his son Lee, his daughter Lily Mae and his friend Gerry Traynor (who works with him), John chronicles (literally with one eye and one finger) his daily walks in a world fallen silent, as we all gradually emerge from Covid hibernation.
