Story Notes
In this two part documentary, Seán Mac Réamoinn sets off on a journey to Coleraine in Northern Ireland. Seán mode of transport is the new CIE Express bus, which goes non-stop to the boarder, stopping in a few towns in Armagh, Tyrone and Derry.
Seán invited Ulster men, Benedict Kiely and Bill Meak to join him on the journey, as well as a much travelled Kerry man Michael Ahern. The men make the trip as a voyage or rediscovery through a part of Ireland that many don’t know nearly as well as we should.
Originally a two part series, in the first half of this programme we join the men on their journey as far as Armagh and then we continue the journey as far as Coleraine.
