In this groundbreaking documentary we go behind the scenes at the Coombe Women's Hospital in Dublin to explore the world of pregnancy and childbirth.
We meet the staff who deliver over 7,000 babies at the hospital every year. We hear from women at various stages in their pregnancy, from their first check-up to the birth of a child in the delivery room.
The birth of a child had never been aired on live radio in Ireland up to this point - but in 1977 'Baby on the Way' changed all that.
