Ruth Clifford's story is one of the best known stories of September 11th because of the freakish coincidences surrounding her death.
Not only was she in one of the planes which hit the World Trade Centre with her daughter Juliana aged 4 who was not supposed to on the trip, but her best friend Paige Hackel was in the other plane that hit the other tower.
Ruth's brother Ron Clifford was in one of the towers when the planes hit. Miraculously he escaped.
Producer, Ronan Kelly travelled to America to tell the story behind the statistics. The story of Ruth Clifford McCourt - an Irish woman who left for America as a young teenager under extraordinary circumstances, who became a successful business
woman despite setbacks and tragedies, and who finally found happiness only a few years before September 11, 2001.
