Skype shut down on May 5th, 2025. Coincidentally and appropriately, it was the day this documentary, by Austin Kenny, was first broadcast. It's on another technology, also now defunct, that allowed Irish emigrant families to communicate their tenderness and sense of loss over the oceans.
