Laura Starecheski is a senior reporter and producer for Reveal. Previously, she reported for NPR’s science desk and the Peabody Award-winning show State of the Re:Union. Her Radiolab story "Goat on a Cow" won a silver award at the 2006 Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition, and "The Hospital Always Wins," on "State of the Re:Union," won a national Edward R. Murrow Award.
Her work at Reveal has garnered another national Murrow and a Webby Award. She was a 2012 Rosalynn Carter fellow for mental health journalism and a 2014 Knight-Wallace fellow at the University of Michigan.
Starecheski serves on the board of the Association of Independents in Radio. She is based in Philadelphia.
