Shane Stokes has been a journalist for almost 20 years and worked as the Irish Times cycling correspondent for much of that time. He’s also written for many of the biggest publications in the sport and covered all of the top international events.

Shane is the news editor of the CyclingTips website and reported on the 2015 Tour de France plus several other major races for it.

He has followed the careers of many Irish riders, including that of Sam Bennett. This is his first radio documentary.
