Emer Horgan has a background in theatre having worked at Youth Theatre Cork and the Gate Theatre and has worked in radio since 1995. 

She has contributed short-form features to a number of RTE Radio 1 programmes and has produced three documentaries for the Documentary on One: Through the Kilimanjaro Keyhole, For the Love of Star Wars and Does My Bum Sound Big In This? Her shortdoc,  Who Took Mom to the Prom?, won Gold at the 2016 PPI Awards.

She works as a voice-over artist on film narration, commercials and audio books and is a continuity announcer on RTE Radio 1. She is also the station voice for RTE Radio 1’s current affairs imaging.
