Rail Baggage was the first programme Louise produced for the BBC Radio Ulster documentary slot. Having grown up in Mullaghbawn, Co Armagh, thus crossing the border on a regular basis, Louise has always had an interest in the perceptions held by those on either of the border about one another. She developed the idea of ‘Rail Baggage’ as a way in which to explore some of the perceived societal differences.
Louise McCreesh is a radio producer for BBC Radio Ulster's Irish language magazine programme 'Blas', a live, daily, speech-based programme, which may cover anything from current affairs to advice on dating apps.
She previously worked in the independent sector producing television, including producing the award-winning youth drama series ‘Seacht’.
Louise is also a fitness fanatic, and writes a regular lifestyle column in The Irish Times' Bileog.
