John Hearne is a Galway based writer and journalist who contributes regularly to the Irish Examiner, Irish Independent and Irish Times, together with a range of other newspapers, magazines and websites. He writes on a range of topics, from business and economics to construction and current affairs.

He is also an established ghost-writer and editor and has worked a range of best-selling memoirs and non-fiction titles for Irish publishers.

He holds an MA in economics from UCD
