Galway native Treasa Bhreathnach is a multi-award-winning radio producer and documentary maker.
She began her career in media in 2000 working as a presenter and producer, director with the tv station TG4 before moving to radio in 2008. She has since worked as a radio producer and presenter across a wide range of programming and formats, from documentaries to music programmes and magazine shows, most recently as producer and presenter on the programme, 'Iris Aniar'.
Prior to joining RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta in 2018, she worked as producer from 2011 and also as Assistant Editor for Irish language programming in BBC Gaeilge, BBC Radio Ulster. She has also spent time as an Irish language print journalist.
She holds a BA in Irish Language and Literature from the University of Ulster.
