As well as managing Claremorris Town Hall Theatre in Co Mayo, John Corless is a writer and photographer. He writes and directs stage plays, and has toured Ireland with productions.

He contributes news, features and sports articles to a number of publications, including weekly contributions to The Mayo News.

His photographs have appeared in newspapers and magazines worldwide.

He has broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 and on local radio.
