Tiarne is from Adelaide, South Australia and currently works as a freelance radio producer.

In 2019 Tiarne completed a Transom travelling radio workshop with Rob Rosenthal which cemented her love for long-form radio storytelling.

She has been working in radio since 2015 and has worked in commercial and community radio, as well as in public radio with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) as a breakfast radio producer.

Tiarne has also written feature stories for CityMag and other local independent publications.

Tiarne studied journalism at UniSA in Magill and currently lives by the beach in Glengowrie, SA.

"Substantial Helen" is Tiarne's first documentary for The Documentary on One.
