Bill Tyson is a freelance writer and producer. He writes a weekly two-page column on consumer issues for the Irish Mail On Sunday and has won three national media awards for journalism. Previously, he was a reporter on RTE's The Consumer Show and produced short films, a drama series and factual programmes for radio and television. Holder of an MA degree in screenwriting and an ACCA-accredited accounting diploma, he is currently co-producing a six-part television series on sustainable food production for DCTV – Romancing Ireland - his sixth BAI-funded production. His IFB-funded short "Whatever Turns You On" was screened on national television in five countries, won eight international awards and qualified for the 'Oscar' longlist.
