Amy Herron is a freelance arts professional and has been a regular books researcher with Newstalk FM for over five years. Upon completion of a MSc in Publishing, she embarked on a career in this same area. Amy later turned to arts programming and event management, communications and development — particularly within Ireland’s literary scene — and has a decade’s worth of experience in these areas. 

This documentary is a personal exploration of her family’s long affiliation with Dublin Zoo. It is her first documentary with RTÉ's Doc on One.
