The Irish stand-up comedian, actor and quiz show guest passed away this morning, news was confirmed by his agent.
Sean, 51 from Dublin was most well known from Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Coronation Street.
He did tweet on October the 8th informing fans he was in hospital.
Hughes reportedly had liver cirrhosis and died at Whittington Hospital during the night after suffering a cardiac arrest.
