The Boy That Never Was follows an Irish couple and their three-year-old boy who disappears during an earthquake in Morocco. Three years later, the father Harry becomes obsessed that a boy he has spotted in Dublin is his son. Subsequent events threaten to tear apart his marriage to Robin and expose secrets about the night their child went missing.
