Status Yellow wind warning in place for 20 counties, gusts up to 110 km/h expected

A Status Yellow wind warning is in operation in Munster, Connacht, Donegal, Offaly, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow, Kildare, Dublin.

The warning will remain in place until 8pm.

People are being warned of very strong west to northwest winds developing, with widespread gusts of 90-110km/h expected.
