Met Éireann has warned of gusts of up to 110km/h as it issues a Status Yellow wind warning for five counties for tomorrow.

The warning, which will be in effect from 11am until 9pm tomorrow, covers Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.

The forecaster said spells of very strong and gusty southerly winds will track eastwards, with damaging gusts possible.

It also said that further rainfall during the next week will cause localised flooding due to waterlogged soils and high river levels.
