A JCB teleporter was driven through a shopfront in Cork in an attempted burglary last night.
The incident occurred at 1.30am at a supermarket off the R619 in the Bellevue area of Mallow.
A white Peugeot flatbed truck was also used by the perpetrators at the scene, gardaí said.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the Mallow area and may have seen the Peugot truck or the JCB, are asked to make this footage available to gardaí.
