Police in Derry are appealing for information after five wreaths were stolen from the Cenotaph on Derry Road in Strabane.

The incident happened sometime between 12.30pm on Wednesday and 3.30pm today.

The PSNI said they are treating the incident as "a sectarian hate crime".

They are asking anyone who was in the area and noticed suspicious activity to come forward.

They are also asking people who may have footage - including dash cam - to contact them at the police in Strabane.
