Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seriously injured in a road traffic collision in Terenure, Dublin today.
Shortly after 10am, gardaí and emergency services were alerted to a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus at Terenure Cross.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 40s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
No other parties are reported to have been injured.
A technical examination of the scene is being carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, and the road remains closed at this time.
Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dash-cam or other footage of the area between 10am and 10.30am, to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
