A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering a mother-of-two in Derry at the weekend is receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained in a fall and is not fit for police interview.
Amy Doherty, 28, was found seriously injured at a property in the Summer Meadows Mews area of Derry on Saturday morning and later died in hospital.
The man in custody was arrested later that day.
It is understood he fell from the city's Foyle Bridge, prompting road closures and a search and rescue operation.
The PSNI has confirmed that the man is undergoing medical treatment and is not fit for interview at this time.
Ms Doherty's funeral will take place tomorrow and a vigil in her memory will be held at Derry's Guildhall on Friday evening.
She was the 33rd female murdered in Northern Ireland since January 2020, three of whom were aged under 18.
