Two men arrested as drugs seized in north Dublin

Drugs seized in Finglas and Coolock, Co Dublin
Cocaine with a value of over €2.6m was seized in Coolock

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of drugs at two locations in Co Dublin.

As part of ongoing investigations targeting organised crime under Operation Tara, the Dublin Crime Response Team searched two properties in the Coolock and Finglas areas of Dublin.

During a search at a business premises in Coolock, gardaí seized 38kg of suspected cocaine with an estimated value of €2,660,000.

In a follow-up search of a residential property in Finglas, 1kg of cocaine with an estimated value of €70,000 and 1kg of cannabis with a value of €20,000 was seized.

The two men, aged in the 20s and 30s, were arrested and are currently detained at a garda station in Dublin.

Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
