A man has been charged following a serious assault in Naas, Co Kildare.
He is due to appear before Naas District Court this morning.
The assault occurred on North Main Street in Naas on 15 March.
A man in his 30s was seriously injured during the incident and remains in Beaumont Hospital.
Gardaí have appealed for any witnesses, or anyone who was in the vicinity of North Main Street, Naas, between 2.20am and 3am on 15 March and who has video footage (including dash-cam), to contact Naas Garda Station on 045 884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
