A Status Yellow rain warning has been lifted for six counties.
The areas affected this afternoon were Carlow, Dublin, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Waterford.
Met Éireann warned of blustery rain with spot flooding.
The weather alert expired at 6pm.
