A man has died in a collision between a car and a lorry near Shercock in Co Cavan.
The incident occurred on Monday morning on the main Shercock to Cootehill road, the R192, at Corcloughan.
The driver of the car, who was in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the lorry, a man in his 60s, was taken to hospital.
The R192 was closed for a technical examination by gardaí.
