A woman in her 80s has died after being struck by a car in Carryduff, Co Down.
The PSNI received a report at around 6.25pm yesterday that a female pedestrian had been hit by a car in the Saintfield Road area.
The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance where she died a short time later.
The PSNI said that enquiries are continuing and has appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have digital footage which could assist with the investigation, to contact them.
