A man in his 20s is in hospital with serious injuries following an alleged assault in Dublin on Friday night.
The incident occurred at around 11.30pm on North Wall Quay after an event in the area.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly any taxi drivers who may have been in the North Wall Quay and surrounding areas of Dublin 1 on Friday night.
They would also like to speak to anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam), or anyone who was in the area between 11.15pm and 11.45pm that night and who may have information about the incident to contact Store Street Garda Station on 01 6668000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
