A 71-year-old man was killed when the car he was travelling in crashed into a shop in Coalisland, Co Tyrone.
The man has been named as Gerard Rafferty, known as 'Jock,' who was from the Coalisland area.
A member of the public was also injured in the shop.
The PSNI said that the crash occurred in the Moor Road area. They appealed for eye witnesses and any digital footage of the incident.
PSHI Chief Inspector Simpson, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Officers, along with colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, attended the scene. However, Mr Rafferty sadly passed away a short time afterwards."
