Four men have been arrested following a robbery in Co Clare during which a woman in her 40s was left injured.
The incident happened yesterday in the small village of Carrigaholt at around 3.15pm.
The woman sustained non-life-threatened injuries, while a quantity of cash was also stolen.
The four men, all aged in their 30s, were subsequently arrested and brought to separate garda stations in Clare.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
They've appealed in particular for anyone who was in the area of The Square in Carrigaholt between 3pm and 3.30pm yesterday and who may have witnessed anything to get in touch with Kilrush Garda Station on 065 908 0550, or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
