The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) are appealing to the public for information following a suspected hit and run in Co Armagh.
The incident has led to a man being seriously injured in Portadown, police say.
The PSNI received a report at 6am this morning concerning a man who had been potentially struck by a vehicle in the Loughgall Road area of Portadown.
"Officers attended the scene, alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and medical treatment was provided to the man for a significant head injury," Inspector Walker said
He was taken onward to hospital where he remains in a critical condition at this time.
Inspector Walker added: "We're investigating the circumstances surrounding this report and how the man sustained his injuries.
"One line of enquiry we’re investigating is that he was involved in a collision with a car. We want to hear from anyone who was in the area prior to the time of the report and noticed what happened to make contact with us on 101, quoting reference number 116 20/01/26.
"We’re also especially keen to hear from anyone who has dash-cam or other video footage that could help our investigation, and who noticed a blue Skoda Octavia in the area around the time of the report."
