Police in Northern Ireland are appealing for information after an elderly man died following a single vehicle road crash in Co Armagh.

The man, who was aged in his 90s, had been driving a car which was involved in a collision in the Hamiltonsbawn Road area yesterday evening shortly after 7.30pm.

"The driver of the car, a man aged in his 90s, was taken to hospital, but sadly died from his injuries," the PSNI said.

"Collision Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances of this collision.

"We are particularly keen to hear from persons who witnessed the incident or hold digital footage which may assist with inquiries.

"This includes dashcam, mobile, CCTV or other material."
