A man in his 40s has died following a road crash in Co Kerry.
The two-car collision occurred on the Tralee road near Dromadeesirt, between Killarney and Farranfore, at around 6.40pm.
The man's body has been removed to the local mortuary, where a post-mortem examination is due to take place.
The other driver, a man in his 30s, was brought to University Hospital Kerry for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported at the scene.
The road is currently closed for an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses, particularly any road users with video footage, including from dash-cams.
