A man has been arrested in relation to the investigation into the death of a man in Dublin last year.
James 'Jake' Berney, who was in his 50s, died following an incident at a house on Foxdene Drive in Balgaddy on 25 June 2025.
A man, aged in his late teens, was arrested this morning and is being held at a garda station in Dublin.
Mr Berney, a father of two, who lived with his elderly father, was described by neighbours as a nice man who did no harm to others.
Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing into Mr Berney's death.
