The PSNI has confirmed that a man found dead in Bangor on Saturday is Jonathan Baker who was being sought in connection with the attempted murder of two people on Christmas Eve.
A woman in her 50s and a man in his 20s were injured in the incident at Chippendale Avenue, when a man armed with a hammer and knife entered a residential property and assaulted them.
The suspect fled the scene on foot, still armed, the PSNI said.
The two people who were injured have since been discharged from hospital.
The body of a 54-year-old man was found on 27 December and has since been identified as Jonathan Baker.
Detectives said they are not seeking anyone else in connection with their ongoing investigation into the attempted murder of two people in Bangor.
