More than €3 million worth of cannabis has been discovered in boxes labelled as "Kitchen Hoods" at Dublin Airport.

The drugs originated in the US and were being shipped to an address in Dublin.

Revenue said investigations are ongoing and the seizure is part of its ongoing operations targeting organised crime groups.

They are asking any businesses or members of the public who have information to contact them.
