A large trawler was driven onto rocks outside Cuan an Daingin.
The trawler had been driven aground on rocks near Binn Bán beach, where weather conditions were extremely poor with rough sea conditions.
The Irish Coastguard said its "Valentia Marine Rescue Sub-centre (MRSC) co-ordinated a response to a fishing vessel which has run aground at the eastern entrance to Dingle Harbour, Co Kerry".
"The incident was reported to Valentia MRSC just before 11:30am this morning. Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 115, based at Shannon, the Coast Guard fixed-wing aircraft Rescue 120F, also based at Shannon, the Valentia Island RNLI all-weather lifeboat, and the Dingle Coast Guard Unit were on scene providing assistance," the statement added.
The rescue has now been completed, with the 14 men on board now safe.
The crew were mainly Portuguese and Indonesian and were successfully winched from the vessel by helicopter Rescue 115.
They are currently undergoing medical evaluation by the National Ambulance Service.
The stricken vessel is a French trawler and is 28m 250 tonne.
The trawler was leaving the harbour when it got into difficulty.
Engagement has been initiated with department pollution and salvage teams in an effort to limit the impact of diesel pollution.
