Two people have died in separate road crashes in Co Tipperary.
A man in his 40s was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-car crash on the R445 at Birdhill, in this early hours of yesterday morning.
His body was removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination will take place.
Gardaí in Nenagh are appealing to any witnesses, particularly any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and who were travelling in the area between 10pm on Saturday and 8am yesterday, to contact them.
Separately, a woman in her 80s died following a single-car crash in Toomevara.
The crash occurred between midnight and 2.20am.
The woman, who was was travelling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was removed to UHL, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
