A man in his 20s has died after being struck by a car in Co Derry overnight.
The collision occurred in the Dunhill Road area of Coleraine shortly after 1.20am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene following a police and emergency services response.
He has been named as 24-year-old Jamie Mitchell from the Portrush area.
The Dunhill Road was closed for some time but has since reopened.
The PSNI has appealed to any witnesses or people who may have footage of the incident, including dash-cam, to contact them on 101, quoting reference number 88 of 08/11/25.
Investigations are ongoing.
