A Status Yellow rain warning has been issued for counties Clare, Kerry, Galway, and Mayo.
The alert comes into effect from 8pm tonight until 8pm tomorrow.

Met Éireann said persistent rain is expected which could become heavy at times.
It also warned of localised flooding, difficult travel conditions, and poor visibility.
