A woman in her 80s has died following a road traffic accident in Galway last week.
The woman was a passenger involved in a single-vehicle crash, which occurred at Bóthar Buí, An Cheathrú Rua at 9am last Wednesday.
She was brought to University Hospital Galway by ambulance, where she since died.
No other injuries were reported.
The coroner has been notified, and gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, who were travelling at Bóthar Buí between 8.45am and 9.15am on Wednesday 22 October are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
