Two men and a teenager have been arrested in Rathkeale, Co Limerick, as part of an investigation into a violent incident which took place in August.
A man in his 40s was injured and treated at University Hospital Limerick after a vehicle was rammed and a firearm discharged during the incident which happened in the townland of Kilcoole on 21 August.
Gardaí conducted a planned operation in Rathkeale and arrested three individuals, aged in their mid-teens, 20s and 40s.
They are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at garda stations across the county.
