A man has died following a workplace incident at a premises in Kingscourt, Co Cavan.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the incident at around 11.50am this morning.
The man, aged in his 20s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, where he has since been pronounced dead.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified about the incident.
Gardaí have said that a file will be prepared for the coroner's court.
